Charlotte Frutier is an American artist and designer based in Nice, France.  She studied at Istituto Marangoni and IFA Paris and holds a Master's Degree in Fashion Design.  Before creating under her own name, she worked for several world famous fashion brands in Paris then went into advertising at The New York Times. Inspired by the vibrant colors of the south of France, her paintings elicit a powerful joie de vivre appreciated by collectors with an exceptional zest for life. Working in oils, acrylics, and watercolor, she explores themes of coastal imagery, French architecture, personal style, and female iconography.
