Russian Saint Nicolas Cathedral in Oil Pastel

Mixed media on cotton canvas depicting the colorful Russian Orthodox church in Nice, France.  La Cathédrale Orthodoxe Saint-Nicolas de Nice is represented in vibrant oil pastels layered over acrylic paint mimicking the fantastical nature of the architecture in shades of pink, purple, and teal.  This contemporary wall art piece uses techniques of pointillism and impressionism.
